1 pkg. Active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 butter (softened)
1 egg
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 c. sugar

Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Mix flour, 1/4 c, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add egg and yeast. Mix until it forms a ball. Divide dough in half and roll out into ovals. Combine cream cheese and 1/2 c. sugar and mix until creamy. Divide in 1/2 and spread on dough. Roll up long ways (so that each one looks like a log) and place seam-side down on a greased cookie sheet. Run a sharp knife down the center of each roll about 1/4 inch deep. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Glaze: 1 c. powdered sugar, vanilla and water. Drizzle over warm cake.
