Chicken Diapers

Don't let the name fool you. These are delicious and will please just about everyone! You can call them Crescent Chicken Bundles if you want, but that's not as fun. lol

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp butter, softened
2 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp chopped green onions
1 can Pillsbury Crescent roll dough
1 Tbsp. melted butter
3/4 cup dried plain breadcrumbs

Preheat oven to 350. Blend cream cheese and butter, add milk, salt & pepper, and green onions. Then add the shredded chicken. Stir till well mixed. Separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles. Seal up perforations. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken into each rectangle, pull up 4 corners of dough to center of mixture and seal. Brush tops with melted butter; dip in bread crumbs, and place on cookie sheet/stone. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Great served with rice.

Serves 4, can easily be doubled or tripled.

I make these...we call them chicken roll-ups. They freeze well if you put them on a cookie sheeet to freeze individually. Then just throw them in a plastic freezer bag to use later.
